You’ll then be transferred to The African Tulip, a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Arusha, where you can relax after your journey. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, featuring a blend of local and international cuisine, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). This park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, where you may spot lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. The Tarangire River is a lifeline for many animals, making it an excellent spot for wildlife viewing.

As the sun sets, head to Tarangire Safari Lodge, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable tented camp overlooking the Tarangire River.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder

After an early breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater (about a 3-hour drive). The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth and hosts an astonishing variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).
Descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive, where you’ll witness vast plains teeming with wildlife, soda lakes filled with flamingos, and lush forests sheltering rare black rhinos. After an unforgettable day, ascend the crater rim and check in to your accommodation, either Serena Ngorongoro Lodge or Lion’s Paw Camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner with breathtaking views of the crater.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – The Land of Endless Plains

Today, you will journey from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife sanctuary (approximately 3-4 hours of scenic drive). En route, you may visit a Maasai village to experience the rich culture of this iconic nomadic tribe.
Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, embark on a full day game drive, where you’ll witness vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. As dusk approaches, head to your luxury tented camp – either Nyota Tented Camp or Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge where you’ll relax under the starry Serengeti sky.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Central Serengeti

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and set off on an exciting full day game drive in Central Serengeti. This region is home to resident wildlife all year round, with opportunities to see big cats, large herbivores, and an array of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the savannah. In the afternoon, continue your exploration, capturing breathtaking moments before returning to your camp for a relaxing evening by the campfire.

Day 6: North Serengeti – Searching for the Great Migration

After breakfast, journey northward to the Serengeti Mara region . This area is best known for hosting the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move in search of fresh grazing lands.
Upon arrival, embark on a game drive, searching for the famous river crossings, where herds risk it all to cross the crocodile-infested waters of the Mara River. Witnessing this natural spectacle is an unforgettable experience. Later, check in at either Nimali Mara Camp or Mara Mara Tented Lodge, both offering incredible views and luxury accommodations in the wilderness.

Day 7: Full-Day Safari in Northern Serengeti – River Crossings

Today is dedicated to tracking the Great Migration. With patience and luck, you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossings, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras face perilous waters and lurking predators.
Aside from the migration, Northern Serengeti is home to resident wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. Enjoy a full day of exploration before returning to your luxury tented camp for an evening under the African sky.

Day 8: Farewell to the Serengeti – Flight to Arusha

After a final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for a scenic flight back to Arusha. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti plains before landing.
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Kahawa House, a charming lodge where you can relax before your international departure or your next adventure. Enjoy a leisurely evening, reflecting on the incredible journey.
