These Booking Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with PAG Safaris LTD. By confirming your reservation, you agree to comply with the following terms:


1. Booking and Payment

  • A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm a booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari start date.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of reservation.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following fees:
    • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees.
    • 30-59 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation confirmation.
  • PAG Safaris LTD is not responsible for refunds due to cancellations caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political instability).

3. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
  • Requests to change travel dates must be made at least 30 days before departure.
  • If changes result in higher costs, the client is responsible for covering the price difference.

4. Travel Documents and Insurance

  • Clients must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost belongings.
  • PAG Safaris LTD is not responsible for denied entry due to incorrect or missing documents.

5. Health and Safety

  • Clients must be in good health and disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation in safari activities.
  • Some activities may have age or health restrictions, which must be observed.
  • PAG Safaris LTD reserves the right to refuse service to any client who poses a risk to themselves or others.

6. Liability and Responsibility

  • PAG Safaris LTD acts as an agent for third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies) and is not liable for any injuries, delays, loss, or damages beyond its control.
  • Clients participate in activities at their own risk.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before departure.

7. Safari Rules and Regulations

  • Clients must follow the guidelines of tour guides and park regulations at all times.
  • Wildlife encounters are unpredictable, and PAG Safaris LTD does not guarantee specific animal sightings.
  • Littering, feeding animals, or leaving designated paths is strictly prohibited.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints must be reported immediately to the tour operator during the trip for timely resolution.
  • If unresolved, formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of trip completion.
  • Disputes will be handled under the laws of Tanzania.

9. Force Majeure

  • PAG Safaris LTD is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or political instability.
  • In such cases, alternative travel dates may be offered, subject to availability.
